What Is Give to the Max?
Give to the Max is Minnesota's annual giving celebration, bringing people together to support the nonprofits and causes that strengthen our communities. Hosted by GiveMN, this statewide tradition invites people to give generously and make a difference through charitable giving. Early giving begins November 1, leading up to Give to the Max Day on November 19, 2026.
You don't have to wait until the big day to make a difference. You can give early and help build momentum for Camp Onomia's campaign!

At Camp Onomia, we know something about being stitched together. For more than 75 years, you and our community have woven stories, gifts, prayers, time, and talents together to create a place where people can encounter Christ through Creation and Community.

Every Piece Matters

Our Give to the Max goal is $10,000 toward our $50,000 year-end goal for Programming, Hospitality, and Facilities. Every gift matters. Every stitch strengthens the whole.

Ongoing: Gator for Onomia
A generous donor is gifting Camp Onomia a John Deere Gator to help our staff and volunteers care for camp and serve our guests. Now, we’re inviting our community to match this generous gift and help put this Gator to work for ministry!
Nov. 19 - Onomia's Board of Directors Matching Grant
The Camp Onomia Board of Directors is matching your Give to the Max gift dollar for dollar, up to $3,550! Your gift can go twice as far in helping us reach our $10,000 Give to the Max goal and strengthen the ministry of Camp Onomia.

A Story Still Being
Stitched Together.
It started at the Quilt Auction...
A child came with their family, surrounded by quilts made with care. They listened as stories of summer camp were told, why it mattered. A little nervous about going away without mom, but they decided to give it a try.
Then came summer. They signed up for a half-week of camp with a friend. A few days to explore. A few days to try something different. A few days to discover what Camp Onomia might hold for them.
And somewhere between that first step and the end of their time at camp, a new possibility took shape.When they came back to the Quilt Auction this year, they won a full week of camp. A whole week.
And they can't wait to come back.
Isn't that what we hope for?
That a child who takes one small step toward something new discovers a reason to take another? That they find friendships, grow in confidence, discover the wonder of Creation, and begin to see themselves as part of a community that welcomes them?
At Camp Onomia, we want every camper to know they are connected, accepted, mentored, and prepared. We want them to know they matter here, and that the things they discover here can go with them when they leave. We don't yet know what next summer will hold for this camper. We don't know which moments they will remember years from now, or which friendships will last. But we know they want to return. And that means there is more story to tell. And you can help tell it.
You may never meet this camper. You may never know whose confidence grows, whose friendships begin, or whose life is changed because you gave. But you can be part of the reason they get to come back.
