Summer at Camp Onomia is all about connection, discovery, and joy. Campers of all ages experience community through outdoor adventures, creative worship, and moments of quiet reflection in God’s creation. Whether it’s their first time away from home or a long-standing camp tradition, every camper is invited to grow in faith, make lasting friendships, and find a sense of belonging that carries far beyond the summer.

We'd love to host your next conference or retreat
Camp Onomia is an excellent, welcoming place to hold your next church group, family reunion, or business retreat. Our location on scenic Lake Shakopee is surrounded by Kathio State Park and is within 80 minutes of most Twin Cities homes. Our Retreat Center is open throughout the year.

Pancakes with St. Nick

Join us for a morning filled with fluffy pancakes, holiday cheer, and a special visit from St. Nick! Family friendly activities, a small craft market for shopping, and lot of fun.

Summer 2027 is calling! Registration opens December 1, and we can't wait to welcome campers back to Camp Onomia. From new adventures and meaningful friendships to growing in faith and exploring Creation, there's something for every age and every stage.

Young Adult Retreat - FREE
January 15-17
Young adults ages 19–35 are invited to a FREE retreat at Camp Onomia! Take a break, build community, share your story, and explore where faith and life are leading you. Your story matters, and there's room for you here!
