What is Day Camp?

What has 8 legs, big smiles, and is absolutely fun to be around?

Well, you guessed it, a big big bug!
Not really. It is a typical Day Camp Team from Camp Onomia. We schedule with congregations a week of "camp" that takes place in the local congregation. Summer counselors come into your site to lead five days of camp songs, worship, Bible studies, crafts, and lots of high energy games and activities. We can adapt our general program model to pretty much any style and time frame you choose. So churches have gone to an evening program, and so on. Quality program content, caring and fun staff, and good Lutheran based theology makes this Day Camp so much more than a week of summer day care or summer rec!

DAY CAMP completed grades 1 through 6 (or variations as arranged)

Typical Schedule:

Sunday Team Arrives (may participate in Sunday Morning worship!) (alternate afternoon or evening activities)
