Association of CongregationsThe Camp Onomia Association of Congregations is comprised of 52 Lutheran churches in Minnesota who are co-owners of the camp. Through its board of directors, this association provides vision, oversight, direction, and support to the ministry of Camp Onomia.
Member churches have voting rights at the annual meeting and are eligible to be represented on the board of directors.
Becoming part of the Onomia Association is a way for your congregation to support a valuable ministry of the church.

- Leadership development. Currently, over 60% of the students at Luther Seminary point to outdoor ministry as formative in their understanding of the vocation. Supporting outdoor ministry is a way to participate in the raising up of future leaders for the church.
- Stewardship of creation. Camp Onomia provides a place away from the busy-ness of our lives, a place to be immersed in the beauty and wonder of God"s creation. With hundreds of undeveloped acres, Onomia is preserving a beautiful piece of the natural world for future generations.
