People gather at Camp Onomia for spiritual renewal, mutual support, for education, and mobilization for service in the church and the world. Onomia is an exciting ministry where Christ meets people of all ages. Young people discover God’s love for them in Christ and come to know God’s presence in their lives. Adults grow in their lives of service and commitment to Christ, the church and each other. Leaders are equipped to make congregational ministries effective. Families are strengthened.
Please take serious time to fill out this application along with prayer and reflection as to whether God is calling you to be a part of the exciting ministry of the Lutheran church here at Camp Onomia.

Counselors
If, in the past five years, you have been employed in a position or volunteered with children, please complete and return the "Identification of Employers" and "Authorization of Release Information" forms along with your application. We exercise the right to perform a 148A background check on all potential employees.
Camp staff are chosen on the basis of their willingness to be a part of and share in the Christian faith journey, eagerness to serve, interest in youth, creativity, flexibility, and willingness to learn. After filling out your application, we will call you to set up an interview. You need not come to Onomia for this. We can set up a phone interview, or we will come to your school.
